How to order Publications
Most of the Building Commission's publications can be downloaded free of charge from this website by searching the publication by title or by subject below.
Hard copies of most publications are available, some free of charge. Check the current 'Free' and 'Paid' Order Forms below to see if a print copy is available. To order fill in the appropriate order form and fax to (03) 9421 4352 or email to fiona@directmail.com.au

* Please note that the Cooling Tower Systems publication is no longer available as registration and management of cooling towers is now a Department of Health function.
* Please note that the Building Practitioner Manual is now available free of charge, however it is out-of-date and updates need to be downloaded from the website.

Where stated a number of publications attract a fee, and can be purchased via Online payments, or by completing the Publications List. Orders can be posted, faxed, paid over the counter or by phone with credit card. All orders must be accompanied with payment: money order, credit card or cheque.
Viewing and printing electronic publications
The most common format for our electronic publications is Adobe Portable Document format which is identified by this symbol 
. Adobe Acrobat Reader® is free software for viewing and printing these files. To download this software, click Adobe Acrobat.
Other document formats in the site are 
Microsoft Word documents.
