Anyone who is planning to apply for a certificate of consent to be an owner builder can call and speak to one of the customer service officers who will be able to help with questions regarding the certificate of consent application process. It is important to consult your building surveyor at the outset to determine if a certificate of consent is required. This may be a private building surveyor or a municipal building surveyor.
