eToolbox maintenance on Sundays

Please note eToolbox will need to be closed down for system performance and functionality improvements every Sunday, between 9am and 1pm for a limited period.  During this time you will not be able to access eToolbox while we make  the necessary enhancements. As we work to improve the operation of eToolbox we apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.

About eToolbox

Building Practitioners can use eToolbox to:

  • Renew their registration;
  • Report Continuing Professional Development (CPD);
  • Maintain their contact information; and
  • Re-order lost registration cards.

Help information is available inside eToolbox and from the Building Commission's eToolbox Help Desk by calling 1300 815 127. 

eToolbox does not replace the existing processes the Building Commission has in place for registration. You can still post in your registration renewal or application if you choose.

Accessing eToolbox

To access eToolbox click on the eToolbox link on the home page of our website. In order to start using eToolbox, Building Practitioners must use their password, which they should have received from the Building Commission by post.

Once you have received the log on instructions you can start realising the benefits of eToolbox, including:

  • 24/7 access;
  • Less paper; and 
  • Secure storage.
