Code of Practice for the Building & Construction Industry

The Code of Practice for the Building and Construction Industry is a key element of the Victorian Government's strategy of reform. It describes minimum standards of acceptable practice for the building and construction industry in its dealings with Government. The Code provides a benchmark for the industry, and applies to all building and construction work that is managed or fully or partly funded by the Victorian Government. The provisions of the Code must be observed by all parties involved in such work.
