Ministerial Direction No.2: Contractual Provisions for Public Construction
Ministerial Direction No. 2 came into operation on 1 December 1996. The Direction outlines the provisions with which Victorian Government Departments and agencies must comply when entering into a contractual relationship for the provision of building and construction works, or for the supply of related consultancy services.
The Direction assists government building procurement by improving contract consistency and contributing to greater security of payment.
