Building Code of Australia (BCA) 2012
The Building Code of Australia 2012 is effective from 1 May 2012 and supersedes the BCA 2011.
Launch of new Practice Notes and Building Code of Australia 2012 Seminars
The Building Commission in conjunction with the AIBS is running free seminars during April on the National Construction Code Series BCA Volume One and Two (does not include the PCA). The seminars will explain changes to the BCA 2012 and launch three new Practice Notes, 'Documentation required for applications for a building permit', 'Alternative solutions, procedures and documentation' and 'Classification of buildings'.
The seminars run from 2pm until 5pm and include afternoon tea.
