The application form, category information sheets, and competencies explain how to become a Registered Building Practitioner (RBP) according to your registration category.

Please read the relevant information sheet before completing the application form.  The code for the registration category is included on the information sheet. 

Steps to apply

1. Click on the information and application form in your relevant category to begin downloading.
2. Thoroughly read the relevant information sheet.
3. Read and then complete the application form.
4. Submit the application form to the Building Practitioners Board, PO Box 536E, Melbourne, Victoria, 3001. Alternatively, fax the application on 1300 815 127.
